A long standing love for art + culture + people has influenced my artistic practice. As a mother to two gorgeous yet extremely cheeky children and a career as a High School English and Art Teacher, I lost my self to daily routines and the black and white of everyday life.

I challenge my students to take ‘Calculated Risks’ and begrudged myself for not being brave enough to do the same- And then Bold Abstractions was born.

I adore art. I adore the conversations it starts and I adore creating artworks, home wares, jewellery and textiles that endeavor to translate a feeling, an emotion or a memory for someone else to enjoy. This passion flows on to celebrating and supporting Women in Business, Handmade Products and Bespoke Australian Made and Owned pieces.
